Lisa’s Hairbrush

The lovely Lisa lost her hairbrush
Boat was searched from stem to stern
Sometimes even in a rush
While among the crew deep concern

The lovely Lisa lost her hairbrush
Cupboards opened; beds tossed
Sometimes there was a hush
All for a hairbrush that is lost

The lovely Lisa lost her hairbrush
Will this become a canal tale
It might even make her blush
And be sent far and wide in the mail

It is the last day
The cruise is over
The hunt is at bey
We are approaching the changeover

But the canal fairy has waved her wand
As servants pack the brush is found
It had not gone in the pond
The hairbrush is now safe and sound
