Today is the day
The end of a year
It’s time to play
After school have a beer
But a year like no other
Pupils in, pupils out
Makes you want your Mother
What is it all about?
We danced the Covid waltz
Lockdowns, tiers, have a test
But all solutions have faults
And Covid is an unwelcome guest
Yet the spirit in schools was strong
It faced adversity with a smile
no matter what went wrong
and they will go on holidays with style.
