Candles light up my home
So many colours and scents
In rooms flickering shadows roam
Scents of the world don’t allow arguments
Candles are beacons in corners
Flames surrounded by lavender and lemon
Always such an amazing performance
It makes me feel in heaven
Candles burn out and scents fade away
But another day always dawns
New colours and scents guide my way
Maybe they will one day bring leprechauns.
