So many versions of truth
My truth, your truth, their truth
Such an abused word
That is always under the sword
The truth voiced by Governments
Especially by planned announcements
Make me ponder
Is this true I wonder
All I want is to hear something honest
I don’t want to be a doubting Thomas
I am able to take bad news
Without getting the blues.
