Waterfalls and steep ravines
Draw our eyes to the windows
So many amazing scenes
And often a river in the mountain’s shadows
Travelling through chocolate-box towns
Over viaducts and bridges
Even when putting on our nightgowns
The train continues through mountain ridges
The Alps are a wonder of nature
Everything we see is majestic
And the train is our teacher
Showing us somewhere fantastic.
