The Seaside

It’s the day we all want
Every day, every Summer
We try and be nonchalant
But these days are a wonder

It’s a day at the seaside
Sand, sea and candy floss
Running in and out with the tide
And Mum and Dad never gets cross

Run down the pier
Find the funfair
And give a cheer
When you are there

So many rides
Roller coasters and the ghost train
Swings and slides
You never hear us complain

So, in the dark of Winter
Look forward to these days
And remember they were all winners
So, sing their praises.
