Today is day one of twenty twenty-one
So, can I wish a happy new year to all of you
But will your wishes for the new year
Come true, or will it bring a tear
Can resolutions be kept
Or do we have to accept
That we all fail
To stay on the resolution trail
But be positive as we enter the year
Hold tight to those we hold dear
Give them another year of love and care
