Life can be hard and cruel
So many days we don’t want to leave our beds
As some days can feel like swimming in a piranha pool
We need to seek distraction and relief
From unpleasant day to day reality
From many days filled with grief
So it’s no surprise we turn to fantasies
Many of us turn to virtual reality
Others design new lives in their mind
Creating a new personality
So, for a while we can leave reality behind.
