So, a new year is arriving
But austerity and the recession will go on
Everyone will continue to strive
Till this incompetent Government is gone
So, hard to say have a happy one
As lives continue to spiral
People have nowhere to run
So, they must continue to fight for survival
So, do enjoy the evening
Just forget the price you pay to exist
Till you awake in the morning
And realise in 2023 pain for all will persist.
