Time Belongs to Me

Time is no longer my master
Not knowing the time or the day
Is now not a disaster
And worries have flown away

My watch sits forlorn
Alone on a bedside chest
And as the sun rises in the morn
It is still left to rest

I now decide what my day holds
To work, rest or play is up to me
And as the day unfolds
I know ignoring time has set me free.
