A Nothing Sort of Day

It was a nothing sort of day
The night was gone
But the day still had to decide
If only we could have a say

Dull and dismal
Bright and sunny
How many changes will we see
Till the weather god gives us a positive signal

White clouds turn dark
Sun’s rays turn to rain drops
And warm winds become artic
Not a day to walk in the park

But today will end
Tomorrow will bring a new dawn
Maybe the weather god will be kind
And the climate will be our friend.
