An Old Town

Sun came up this morning
As it always does
White horses are adorning
The blue Aegean Sea

The morning wind blows
Down the old town’s roads and alleys
Casting a chill wherever it goes
But soon the sun’s heat will come

People will move
To explore an old town
Small shops and cafes will get into their groove
And the hustle and bustle of life will start

Buildings from another era
Enhance many a road or alley
Where you can sit under a café’s umbrella
And watch an old town at peace with itself.
