Raindrops

I sit in my conservatory’s embrace
The sky weeps and raindrops dance
Upon my roof with a rhythmic trance
I listen to a symphony of raindrops

I sit in my conservatory’s embrace
While on glass and pane raindrops cascade
Creating a thunderous serenade
And time seems to stop

I sit in my conservatory’s embrace
And hear every raindrop that falls
Together they drown out our calls
For the storms to stop

I sit in my conservatory’s embrace
And now I am attuned to the raindrops sound
At times I feel magic has been found
As the raindrops weave dreams in my mind.
