Many Roads, Many Turns

I have travelled many roads, some winding, some straight
With turns that led to joy, with turns that led to pain
I have walked through valleys deep, climbed mountains high
Forgotten wonders I have seen, under an ever-changing sky

As time I searched in darkness, at times I cried alone
But there were days of laughter, where joy and peace met
Each road I took, a lesson, each step, all became a part of me
And now I stand beside you, where the past and the future meet

The roads behind are gone, their memories are fading away
Before lies a promise, a bright and endless life
I am no longer lost in turning, no longer trapped in the night
With you, I see a future, a road that is straight and bright.
