A Viking Story

The moon is low, the sea is still
The wind is a soft warm breeze
And we know Freyra will bless this day
As the elements tell us she has heard our pleas

Fate brought us together, separately we came to Daneland
The journey has been hard, the North Sea was a cruel place
But we settled, we built, we farmed, we fell in love
We felt we had found our place

But pain stalks the path of love
Power never ceases to be sought
As avaricious men via a place in history
And the call went out, a war had to be fought

So, now you are at sea, returning north
Promises made of gold and glory
But will you return, or go to Valhalla
And just become part of a Viking story.
