Time is a river; it never waits for me
Through mountains and valleys
It washes my pain away
Every drop just a moment, never to stay
I built my walls high
But the river rose
So I followed it flow
Going where it goes
At time a whisper, a time a storm
At times cold, at times warm
Never fight it, don’t even try
The river will keep running, and so do I
One day I’ll be water, fading in the deep
Joining the voices singing in the stream
So, I don’t waste time, never a breath
I’ll live like a river, rolling till nothing left
So, I’ll ride the current
Never the moment
Time is a river, always always on track.
