A VE Day lunch, enjoyed by all
Thank you to Royal British Legion members
For planning and serving us all
I think I can say on behalf of all we had a ball
A sax entertained while we eat
We even saw some brave dancers
Then Vera Lynn songs we could all recall
So, again thanks to the Legion as we had a ball.
