Just Walk

When the world is heavy
Your thoughts feel thick
Lace up, no need for a plan
Just walk, just do what you can

Each step a rhythm, a beat
A break from the chair
Your body will thank you, your mind too
With each step you’re pushing through

Stress starts to soften
The war in your head gone
The weight of your heart, your waist
Both shrink with motion, fading with pace

You don’t need a reason
No finishing line, no race
It’s simple, it’s honest and it’s true
The path is right there, waiting for you

So, step out the door
Let walking find you
Do it for your body, your soul, your mind
A better you is what you’ll find

Just walk.
