Pots so full of unbelievable wonder
Hanging baskets bursting to be seen
On entering you stand and ponder
Michele’s garden could belong to a queen
An area of tranquility
As flower after flower greets you
They spirit you away from reality
And take away your blues
Purple, yellow and red roses
Vying with the lavender to spread their scent
Through the air into your nose
When the Summer ends we will lament.
