A Love So Pure

The warmth of a summers evening
Drew us closer and closer
As we walked in the woods hand joined
We wished this day would never be over

Bluebells and poppies at our fee
As the quiet of the woods allowed our love to speak
But at some point, we must return to the street
And not meet again for a week

We walk different paths
Ones we did not choose
If our love is found, we face nothing but wrath
But how can a love so pure be allowed to loose?
