The strangest of strange years is over
Today is day one of 2021
But do not expect to be in clover
And it maybe some time before we have fun
Lockdowns continue, the tiers grow bigger
Hands, face, space rules our life
Everything is testing our rigor
And causing us so much strife
But a New Year brings hope
Expressing our wishes in resolutions
Maybe a way to help us cope
and find different solutions
Covid is spreading like a disease
All the world is suffering
But we have now a vaccine
And maybe we can start to recover
So enter 2021 in the right spirit
Don’t sneer, try a cheer
And despite Covid don’t fear it
