A White Earth

Snow blankets the earth in a silent embrace
The road ahead lies clear, an empty space
No footprints disturb winter’s white coat
The world is at peace, solitary and quiet

The sun is dipping low, its light softly fades
Soon casting shadows, weaving twilight shades
Night whispers gently, its time is soon
And stars will start to shine on a white earth

Will dawn bring more snow, a fresh white shroud
Or will green fields return, bright and unbowed
Nature is its own mystery, its own master
And each day is a new chapter of beauty

But for now, the world sleeps in its white coat
A serene endless landscape where times seems to float
Yet in the heart of this stillness, the future lies ahead
As whether in snow or green fields, life’s journey never ceases.
