Only days left till
Christmas day arrives
So, no time to be ill
And look forward to a surprise
The big day and a big lunch
Families around tables
So, don’t have a morning brunch
And you can bet someone will tell Christmas fables
In a day or two
Put on the sprouts
And of course, still lots to do
Including decorating the house
Carrots, broccoli and sprouts
Everyone’s favofurite vegetables
So, no one have any doubt
That Christmas lunch will be incredible
Pigs in blankets and lots of nibbles
To eat as and when
But be careful no dribbles
And Boxing Day do it all again
So, just enjoy the Christmas days
Have lots of games and fun
But don’t get in a drunken haze
