In an old school house a plot unfolds
A dinner party where shadows hide
As a murder mystery takes shape in a dark corner
And guests have been given a variety of roles


Guests arrive in a range of attire, so grand
But all hiding secrets like forbidden wine
What can you say about such a group
All with different motives, definitely a strange band


A hostess and host with an enigmatic air
A dining room, a table adorned
With lights casting a mysterious glow
Inviting guests to a night so rare


Whodoneit? The guests have to be alert and keen
Questions will hang over the table
All are a possible suspect
Who will unravel the secret that less unseen


Before the curtain falls a guest must die
A murderer will be revealed
A murder mystery dinner will end
And innocent guests can breath a collective sigh.
