Poets write about it
Songs are sung about it
Authors write about it
We all talk about it
We want more and more of it
But do we use it right?
We would give anything for an extra bit
And what we get we hold tight
We make plans on how to use
Bur most fall in the dust
We can’t negotiate a truce
And it not something we can trust
It controls us day after day
We ask do we have enough
To work, shop and play
And we can’t call its bluff
Time is not ours to own
So, welcome every moment we get
What is before us is unknown
So, enjoy your time here and now and never fret.
